Ole Miss is 4-2
LSU is 3-2

We'll be below Ole Miss. Beat Bama and we'll be above them.

Ole Miss has lost by like 6pts combined. so prob not
yep, the "quality loss" argument. And they only lost because of bad luck (or that's the narrative).

Let's see if they talk shite to LSU fans again with the committee giving them the ranking.

On the flip side, our losses are anything but quality. I don't care what the score was, MSU dominated us.

They should be but they won't. The fact that we were only ranked 19th to begin with was a joke. First season and the committee is already fricking up

Lol you seriously think loss by points matters more than head to head when deciding who is better?

we didnt look like we belonged on the same field as Auburn and Miss St. So yea, that definitely matters.

EVen so, by your logic, Ole miss beat Bama which is by far the best win of either team.

Do you all know how high a mountain the Tigers have to climb to get were we all hope they get? Not only do we have to beat a nemisis in Bama we have to endure a certain trap game against Arkansas. An Arkansas team who is trying to win a first SEC game for their coach. And they have a week off to do it. Who set that schedule?

Lsu lost early in the year. Ole miss has lost 2 times in a row. Lsu is playing better football. Lsu should be ranked above.

It's really going to be both interesting and telling to see what happens to Old Miss and Ga.

LSU will be 7-2 with L's to #1 and #3 and a W over Old Miss. Old Miss will be 7-2 a L to #3 and #19 LSU. Ga. will be 6-2 with L's to non/ranked teams.

Appears to me that LSU needs to cancel these Wis., TCU, Oregon, etc. games and just schedule a Army or SMU or some other such team. Seems to be more bout not losing than who you lose too.

No & No. Ole Miss loses a tough road game 10-7 and then loses at home to the #3 team by four points. Our blowout loss to Auburn is still on the minds of those who vote. We win next week...everything changes in LSU's favor.

Exactly!!! Our non conference means nothing when we win them only if we lose them so don't even play em at all. Play Southern Miss instead. The SEC West is also penalized for being so strong and losing to each other and no one else. So why play these big non conference games? Other conferences have the ludgery of playing teams like Kentucky thru out their conference and get rewarded bc they don't lose.

Should? Yes.

Will? Not hardly - by 6 to 8 spots.

Yes. We beat them head to head. We both have two losses. We both loss to Auburn. That said, we won't be ahead of them. That's just way to far for them to fall after a loss to #3 and we didn't even play.

But isn't the committee supposed to take in what you do later more than what happened early? Their whole thing in the offseason was talking about best team period regardless. IMO, if you've paid attention to this team, you would realize that it is a lot different than just a month ago, let alone 2 months. It's like people can't move past that fact. Auburn has not gotten better since, and neither has MSU. On the other hand, LSU has turned it completely around.

I would have hoped that they would have looked a bit more in depth with these teams. Find out when they started to play better/worse, and what caused that change. Hell, since those first two losses, we have held every offense to their season low and we have ran for a season high, against every defense.
