With Eades looking shakey the pass couple games do you think it would be better to pitch him against OU ace?
Pitching our ace against theirs will be a toss up for who wins the game. If Eades continues to struggle we could lose the first two games. Now if we somewhat give a win by matching Eades against their ace (which isn't by any means giving bc Eades could have a great game) , we have a better shot winning game two with staying Nola and making it to game three where the odds are more in our favor bc of the depth at pitching. That's If you are playing the odds.

Oh and this has been done before so don't bitch

I guess it's about how much confidence you have in your team. Playing eades against grey seems like playing not to lose rather than to win.

are you really that scared of gray?

Nola was 1st team All American this season. He's been destroying everyone in his path. Gray really is not as good as people are making him out to be.

I say no, I want NOLA facing their best and beating him. We don't want to concede anything and sending Eades poor against Gray would be almost like conceding the first game to the Sooners.

Jeez...this shite is getting ridiculous with some of you pussies. Go water your garden or shop for shoes. LSU is fricking 55-9 and Nola is as good as any pitcher in the country. OU should be very fricking scared of us..not the other way around.

I think we should start Kevin Berry against Gray in game 1. And see if we can get 9 out of him.

The object of Super Regionals is not to start out 0-1

He will actually probably still be on it.

Maybe a better question is whether OU should consider saving Gray for game 2 rather than taking a chance that he loses to Nola in the opener.
