Kill it. It’s the worst thing in sports. Sit down and watch the game….The thing about it is, you should be into what’s going on on the field, not what’s going on in the stands. It takes away from the game. I definitely understand why people hate it….I definitely vote kill the wave.

Lately, it just sort of seems to be a thing that — come the sixth inning — somebody wants to do the wave, regardless of the situation in the game.It is a fun thing to do … But it indicates you’re not really paying attention to the game that’s going on, and it distracts other people too.

Does the wave bother you in Death Valley? It always seems to start in the student section when the game lulls in the 3rd quarter. What are your thoughts?

it's interesting to watch the mindlessness of it. It comes around and people just stand up unconsciously.

If you don't have the mental capacity to do the wave for 1/2 a second and still pay attention to a football game, for the safety of us all, please do not attempt to drive home. You are clearly either too stupid or too drunk to operate a motor vehicle.

I usually see that wave happen during down times in Tiger Stadium. No big deal.

............... These people pay money to get there in order to have fun. STFU and focus on what you're doing and not the fans, dumbass.

It should have never made it out of the 80's.

The worst was the a-hole in the student section who wanted to start the wave during the Alabama game this year. He was typical look at me I'm so cool bullshite, and it was the fourth quarter during the best game all season.

I'm all for ending it. Alabama and Mississippi State were driving at the end of the game and I remember at least 3 or 4 groups (10+ people) in the student section trying to start the wave.

It's for kids, people who don't care about the game and drunk students who are there to socialize.

The wave is bad karma for LSU. Usually something bad happens either during or after the wave is over. Most recent one was on 11/3/12 right before Alleman attempted that field goal late in the game. He goes on to miss the FG and Bama drives down and beats us

Frick the wave
