Should the new HC go after Rattler?

If he enters the transfer portal, I think it would be a great gamble. He’s having an off season but…
He’s a former 5 star QB
Has a ton of talent and a great arm
Would probably still be considered a 1st round pick
Could bring in a ton of energy to the team
He’s also a great teammate
Just my opinion, but Max is never going to be the guy. Maybe it’s his arm or his reads, but it’s not working. That’s NOT to say that the current issues we’re having are because of him. Sometimes, bringing in a big time talent at QB will change everything for a program

Hell no. He is not very good and even more so unlikeable. You have Max, Nuss, and Walker all in the building next year.

Rattler is a me first locker room cancer. I don't think a new coach coming in and building his own culture is going to want to deal with that.

From the video that surfaced of Rattler interacting with his HS WRs, I don't want him on our team. My opinion is based on a 2 minutes clip but in those 2 minutes he trashed his WRs, claimed he has never thrown a bad ball, and just seemed genuinely unlikable. Couple that with how his team rallied behind Williams after they sputtered with him and I'd say that's to many red flags for me.
Hell he couldn't even look good in a Lincoln Riley offense. The same offense that took game manager Jalen Hurts and made him a Heisman contender.

We will most likely have Max, Garrett, and Walker in our QB room... our top priority in the portal will be offensive lineman

That is just wrong. I have (for whatever reason) watched a lot of OU this year, and he is nothing special. He has his HS hype, but he is just not that good. I doubt any coach hired would want to start their tenure with freaking Spencer Rattler and run off one of the current QBs. Also, it seems like his teammates can't stand him.

Nope, don't like his attitude. If you're kicking arse with that attitude, cool, but he looks bad and can't/won't run.
Honestly I think Walker Howard could actually start as a freshman. Him or Nuss next year. Can't take another year of Max.
