I just can’t comprehend how anyone can believe that we do not need under center experience like basic I formation sets. We use to clown programs that ran all spread all the time. Yes we wanted a more modern offense but that doesn’t have to exclude any type of under center formations.

They don't realize that once you define an offensive identity, that's what you are. If it's successful, why try to change it? Football is not rotisserie. You choose a philosophy and stick with it to develop it. I still believe the running game will become more successful as the season moves on and teams adjust to protect against the pass.

we could still be in 4 wide single back from ACE (under center) formation similar to old RUN N SHOOT offenses.

it would help on short yardage without having to go to BIG formations. but you may need to be in ACE if you need a yard on a QB sneak.

Man, we score SIXTY-FVE phuckin pernts yesterday. IDGAF if it was NWestern. A Miles coached team would’ve never done that.

Probably because we know, we’re gonna need a frickin run game for the SEC duh!

the primary goal of the offense is not to "run the ball," it to move the ball and score points, so no, we do not need to take "more" snaps under center

Is it trauma? Why would anyone look at this offense and think “you know what? We need to line up in i-formation and really pound the rock into a stacked defensive front. That’ll show ‘em. No way we can be successful without doing so.”
