We talked to his dad after the A&M game near the team buses. Great guy, proud of his son and the Tigers and he was sporting his #10 jersey.

My son and I were at the UNC pregame festivities in 2010. When the team walked by, Shep noticed my son was wearing a number 10 jersey. He immediately made a bee line to us and chatted up my 10 year old son for a few minutes. Great move by him. My son and I have held him in high regard ever since.

One of my favorites. I'll never really get over how mis-used he was while here, but a class act through and through.
Hope he has success in whatever he chooses to do next. And I hope he is the focal point of our game plan on Saturday so we can see what might have been.
