Sticks around? He will be WR 1/2 next year.

Older, unproven players though.

Kyle Parker has obviously surpassed some of them. He will see the field plenty this year.

Once Hilton is back healthy, where does that put Sampson? Down to 7th guy I believe

The Starting WRs should all be moving on next year - Lacy, Hilton, Daniels. Hopefully, Sampson is patient and gives himself the opportunity to compete for one of those jobs in 2025.

In the handful of plays he’s played and practice video I’ve seen he looks like a stud in every aspect accept his ability to catch it cleanly with his hands.

If he learns that I think he will be a very high pick.

He's got the talent for sure. In the next couple years I think he will shine.

Agreed.
Hopefully, he’ll continue to progress and have a BT type of Senior year.

I would say stay healthy, get as much tape as possible, play slot in spread offense of your choice.

Dynamics of coaching staff matter. Be diligent in choosing. Don’t waste eligibility, look out for yourself.

Sounds like you think transfer is a forgone conclusion for Ibieta?
I don’t know much about him, except some who were close to his HS play we’re VERY high on him.

Maybe you see him more toward game 7 vs game one. It will come together for him.

Word was they wanted him to play hurt last year, he decided to opt for surgery and get completely healthy.

That decision probably made his path difficult at LSU.

If portal bound, he will be in demand.

Pretty sure he has 3, maybe 4 to play.
RS and should get an Injury RS.

Sampson seems to be a year away. I think he shows flashes this year, but he hasn't been consistent enough at this point.

I completely agree. I think he’ll have the same path that BTJ had. Flashes in year 2, monster year 3.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think you can get a medical waiver if you haven’t used your redshirt yet.

There are balls for the taking and a void for a big WR like Sampson on a mostly small WR group
_____________

Lacy, Hilton, Daniels, Sampson, Billiot all have good size.

Sampson will get early looks if Hilton's new injury keeps him off the field some. He has the talent, but was buried last year.
