Simone Augustus was by far leaps and bounds above Angel Reese. The girl maybe good but some of her motions and ball control were downright clumsy and uncoordinated.

Getting tired of the overly woke. He can say that because he knows it isn't true but oh the virtue signaling. Can't just say she is an awesome athlete? Simone Augustus anyone? Not even going to waste my time listing the men. Might as well put her on a can of Bud Light. LOL

Literally every starting mens basketball player in LSU history are better than Angel Reese. It was a real bad take by Shaq.

You can make an argument for best female athlete. Although Augustus may have something to say about that.

Think Shaq really likes Reese because she plays a bit like him.

A woman can never be the best athlete in any sport unless it is a woman’s only sport.

Shes a great one.

Shaq has a tendency to embellish when he talks to make a point. I’ll chalk it up to that and leave it be.

I know people rag on her but Lolo Jones makes a strong argument winning national titles 3 years in a row and World Championship and competed in bobsled.

If I was listing some track athletes
Dawn Sowell beats all of them AND YES even Richardson on the same track (look at the Texas relays times from this year with a new track surface).

Muna Lee makes a strong case as well.

So many track athletes ahead of Reese and even August for that matter

Best female athlete? Very arguable. Augustus, Fowler, Lolo, Sha Cari Richardson?

Best overall athlete? Not a chance.

He’s just trying to make her feel good so he might be able to get a piece later.

Back in Gunter's day there was a girl from out west (Seattle? I believe) named White that played for the women. She was so good she (I thinking) played with the Harlem Globetrotters. LSU women won at least one championship before the NCAA started. I remember they had two Australians on the team in the 70s. They've had some great players back in the day.

She’s not even the best female basketball player. Simone, take a bow!
