That franchise did him wrong for years. Glad this is happening tonight. Should be good to watch.

I guess New Orleans Jazz/Utah Jazz count as two for Maravich. I’ve never noticed if the Pelicans have his number retired. I’d guess the third is Atlanta Hawks

Pete finished his career with the Celtics. With all of their HOF stars, I can’t imagine they’d retire his number.

I loved those Magic teams with Shaq, D Scott, Nick Anderson, Penny, etc. Probably my favorite NBA team ever.
Such a great young base, but couldn't hold it together.
The Magic thought Penny was the next Jordan and didn't want to pay Shaq. Funny thing was that Penny was great...as long as he had Shaq.
Damn shame.

Well what Inheard is they were mad he left (which makes sense) but refused to retire his number for years.
