I remember Paul fricking dietzel, and all I know is it is so painful to watch now that I don't even enjoy THE WINS!
So what does that tell you?
So what does that tell you?

Of a time where Curley's Corner was an abandoned, neglected wasteland needing repair.....
Of a time where there was nothing but broken dorm windows surrounding the stadium.....
Of a time when you could smell those bathrooms from a mile away.....
Of a time when the stands were so empty that you could buy tickets "2-for-1".....
Of a time when people held up four tickets to a game and said "just gimme whatever ya got".....
Of a time where we couldn't even beat Kentucky in Tiger Stadium...... KENTUCKY?
Of a time where you waited for baseball season because it was the only thing we had going for us.....
Of a time that just GOING to a bowl game was an accomplishment.....
Of a time that beating Tulane was an accomplishment

I honestly can't think of a single person who leaves as soon as we start losing.

So we should accept mediocrity now because it's a bit better than the past???
What the hell kind of thinking us that???

He's saying you can't be paralyzed by fear of the unknown. Otherwise you end up letting a guy linger far too long and it ultimately hurts the program more.

I was there in those days as a kid listening to every game till the last second praying for miracles. I've cried three times in my life. Birth of my two children and when we won it in 03. All those years of praying for miracles and they finally came true. That's why I think its time for a change because friend we are headed right back down that dark road praying for miracles.

I also remember a time when....
Top in state recruits went to Miami, FSU, ND etc
The facilities weren't amongst the best in the nation
The coaches pay wasn't near the top in the nation
Every LSU game wasn't nationally televised
Nobody thought LSU could win a national championship
Oh yes the times have changed alright. The LSU head coaching job is much different than 20 years ago. But you so called "positigers" keep on being negative about potentially getting a new coach and refuse to accept the fact LSU is much different than it was.

Okay..
So what is the point of this? Settle because it once was so bad?
No reason to settle. These aren't those times now.. although the current trend is not getting any better.

Been there, don't care to go back
It's sad that this fanbase has Miles fired already and already has his replacement hired
It's more sad that people with your mindset are stuck in the past. Too stuck in that to realize LSU can do so much better and is winning mostly on talent alone.. LSU will still have the talent, post Saban, post Miles, and going forward because it has put itself in position for such.
We aren't even competitive in these losses now, we aren't even winning bowl games any more. 2 wins and 4 losses over the past 6 bowl games is atrocious for a team that once was beast with preparation..

I've been here forever. Admin didn't accept my profile until 2 months ago.
Positiger......Yes......because I know what rolling the dice could land on. Ask Tennessee and Nebraska.
Whole lotta "premier" program there.

You must be joking. Unlike you, my fair weather friend. I watch every LSU game I whether football, baseball, gymnastics, etc. I love LSU regardless of the shitty coaching and time management.

I remember the Hallman days. I remember the Dinardo days, good and bad. I also remember I enjoyed and looked forward to LSU Football games during those days, win or lose. This crap we see now sometimes isn't even enjoyable when we win.

Thank you......thank you......thank you......
Auburn 2013, and 2 games this year....pooring down rain. Winning seasons that some programs will NEVER see. Living a life as a fan NOT stuck on the Saban years.
The life of a Positiger. A true Alum and fan...through and through.

Stop fearing mongering and be proud Les is 0-5 against Bama.

And we kept McClendon for HOW long?
We all know that if Miles breaks that win record, he's leaving....immediately.

You can add Miami and USCw to that list as well. It ain't as easy as people around here think. Do changes need to be made? Hell yes, starting with Special Teams. But for an AD to allegedly let word leak that Miles is coaching for his job is just ridiculous and a sad testament to the win it all or else mentality in sports these days.

Listen Chicken Little, life will go on without Leslie on LSU's sideline.
