There is really no doubt that any boos that occurred when Jennings was put in again after the 2nd interception were 100% Miles' fault

It must be nice for some to find a way to blame someone else for their own displays of poor sportsmanship. This is classic CYA..."Miles made me act like a jerk to a player on the LSU team".

The only "stupid man" is those who throw BS like that out and expect sane/rational people to buy into it.

Booing is a personal choice. Do it or don't do it, but lets have backbone enough to accept responsibility for our own actions without seeking out cover under the "he made me do it" BS.

I booed the NMS team when they ran out on the field the same time as LSU. Glad SG President didn't mention that.

At least he gave proper and proportional emphasis to the fact that it was mostly the coaches that were being boo'ed, as they were insistently on exposing the young man to situations he was grossly ill-prepared to handle, and as such, were doing the LSU offense and Mr Jennings a great dis-service by leaving him in the game. It was an example of horrible coaching and really poor player support. The young man's confidence was at risk of permanent damage. We've seen this mis-management before, and the continuation of it by the coaching staff is highly deserving of the boos.

If the coaching staff did not emphatically and specifically discuss this with Mr Jennings, telling him that the boo'ing was all directed at the coaching staff, that makes it all the worse, as that is intellectually dishonest and ego-protective, at the expense of Mr Jennings.

Great attitude. Then we can show those weak recruits what we're all about when we play them at Bama, Auburn and A&M cause that's where they're going to go.

And those teams won't win anything bc all we would have to do would be to boo them and they would crack.

I don't boo. Think I covered that.

But yes, when a coach has been around as long as Miles has been, he KNEW exactly what would happen. He sent the 19 year old out there anyway. Don't try and pretend you can't comprehend that.

Miles didn't make them boo. But, Miles should accept responsibility for sending that kid out after the 2nd interception with the FULL KNOWLEDGE that booing would happen. Unless you think Miles is an idiot? Do you?

Booing others is just an outward projection of inward hostility. Prayer or meditation could help with any anger and anxiety issues you may be experiencing. That or a really good exercise regimen.

Most people don't have the competitive makeup to play sports at a high level.

That doesn't change reality. No one who has ever played sports successfully at a high level has been an individual who would be crestfallen by booing.
Doesn't excuse the fact people are booing teenagers who are trying their best. Even if they come here and say "it's really the coach we are booing". Convenient excuse.
Reality is, life is more important than sports.
These kids put all their eggs in the LSU basket. I will support them no matter what. Jennings is a good dude and deserves our support even if he has bad games.
I really like the guy, he seems to be a good person.
It's up to the coaching staff to put the best players on the field and win. I too, am all for that.
I want LSU to win every game, so does our opponents fans.
Everyone can't win, I'm just happy I have this team to root for. That is all.

Booing isn't effective. Miles seems to thrive on booing. It makes him more stubborn. Example: BCS Bowl=thousands of boos. Did he change his game plan? No

That's all fine and great, but I'm curious just what the frick people think booing accomplishes. I'll help out - It accomplishes nothing besides further shattering the confidence of a player doing his damn well best to succeed.

Honestly, do you really think Jennings thought he was playing well? Did he need a bunch of dumb fricks booing him and calling for his replacement to help "snap out of it" or some shite?

The self-importance of some of you people is staggering.

Right. Because there's no way Jennings would know he needs to improve without a bunch of drunk knuckle-draggers booing him and chanting for his replacement.

Just stop. There isn't a single justification for an LSU fan booing an LSU player for playing poorly, it accomplishes nothing, shatters confidence and reflects horribly on our fan base. Period.
