Figured to see him last nite. He should come in handy as the season wears on.

Brian Kelly did say earlier this week that he was close to 100%
I'd assume they want him to be as healthy as possible for the rest of the SEC

If he can get healthy enough to get playing time, perhaps Banks can really make some strong contributions in some of the big SEC games in October or November.

Hopefully he can get some low pressure reps in next week to get back out there and start getting up to game speed. We could really use him by the time we play UT.

He’s a guy you hope is available for the back end of the season.

If we only get him for Tennessee and Bama at full strength, I'll be happy. We need all hands on deck for both of those games. Other teams don't pass anywhere near as well.

Auburn, TAMU, and Florida suck arse at passing, KJ at Arkansas can pass okay enough, but he can be taken care of as well. Ole Miss is a mystery on how good they pass.

When #35 made a play, and the announcer called out Saivion Jones, I got it mixed up and thought it was Sevyn Banks. I thought, Holy hell, that’s a huge corner!

Was expecting a low-leverage snap here and there...but, it was a taut enough of an affair and the assignment aspect of this game was tantamount, so maybe not the right time for a guy's first snaps of the year. Glad we didn't need him, hope we can still count on him down the road.

Maybe you can get another year out of him if he is still hurt

He does have a redshirt available. They probably should just sit him out the year, or play him in just 4 games.

For him to make the NFL, he probably needs a full healthy year. Would be great to have him back starting at corner next season.
