On espn's sc the 6 or whatever, he just said Kermit Davis was a tremendous coach after saying mtsu would be an upset team to watch, "as if thats a big surprise".... then he came out and said he should definetly be the next coach at LSU.... personally i wouldnt like it, thoughts??....

It's a "meh" hire which is obviously the status quo for the LSU administration.

If he's been coaching for thirty years and hasn't had a head coaching position at a major school than there's probably a reason for that. No thanks

Davis isnt leaving MTSU, he's been there for 15yrs, 57 years old, and he probably doesnt want to inherit a dumpster fire. Davis also knows the QOL is much better in Murfreesboro than in Baton Rouge.

Not my first choice, but certainly not a disaster. Lots of analysts are picking them for the Sweet 16 this year after upsetting No. 2 Michigan State last year.

I think he and Musselman will be the fall backs after going after a few bigger names.

In this case, it's the god's honest truth. Davis doesn't have to deal with 9th Ward Refugees in Murfreesboro.

I didnt realize LSU basketball coaches had to deal with "9th ward refugees" either...... DAMN! No wonder we can't win or find a good coach!

I don't care if he's a douche if he can win. That said, he's not in my top 7-8. But he is ahead of fricking Rick Stansbury
