Richard Williams never won an SEC title, he won a tourney never won an sec reg season title. Miss states first SEC title since 63 was won by Rick Stansbury in 2003-04 season. Williams best season was 95-96 when he won the west but Kentucky won the SEC title and national championship. Stansbury recruited all those kids on the final 4 team btw.

Hmmm. Wiki says State won the SEC Title in 1991 on both Williams page and State's page. Kentucky's page doesn't claim the title but they finished 1 game ahead of State in the standings. Kentucky's 1989 3 year probation must have come into play.
