Seriously need to lay off the Jimbo will follow Woodward line of thought.

O has the program moving in the right direction. O has demonstrated the following:

1. Excellent at recruiting.
2. Humble enough to bring in expertise where he is lacking.
3. Loves LSU and bleeds P&G.

The Jimbo will follow Woodward meme needs to stop. Planting these seeds of consternation in the middle of what is one of the best moves by the LSU administration in my lifetime needs to be avoided. If you are doing this you are either a serious worry wart or an LSU hater...maybe a combo of both.

Jimbo hasn't proved anything in 3 years.

All in for Coach O!

it's simply not happening. Why would it? O is not on the hot seat and LSU is expected to be good next year. It would take O really tanking for him to be fired after the 2019 season. THEN we can entertain this idea. As of now, there is no chance.

It really is kind of silly. O seems to be making some solid moves to get this team ready. Wait until O shits the bed before the Jimbo to LSU speculation; he isn't going anywhere.

Gumbo is absolutely right FWIW.

But certainly don’t let that stop you from enjoying the Aggie meltdown.

I'm sick of this talk as well. Yeah, Jimbo has no buyout so he can just walk about from A&M scot-free, but I feel as though it would be the wrong move for Woodward to come in and disrupt what football has going on right now coaching-wise.

Orgeron may not have been THE GUY back in 2016 when the hire was made, but he has taken his chance and run with it. Retaining Aranda, getting Ensminger some young help in the form of Joe Brady. All of these things are positives and coming off our first 10-win season since 2013 is nice!

Also, I'm not sold on Jimbo coming back to LSU. Not a fan of him as a person or football coach...fwiw.

I'd say O has far exceeded most expectations already, so he'll certainly get the shot to keep that going.

But I think what people are concerned/talking about is that if that time comes, Jimbo to LSU could be EASILY done at this point.
Different story if we'd actually want him at that point tho. We'll see how he does at Faggieland

Beat O straight up and scored more than twice as many points against Bama in his first year than O has in three. If he hasn't proven anything, then what has O done?

I don't care about any of that if he doesn't win.

Ok. But if you actually watched that game, you'd know LSU won it twice before it was 'over'

I love the spin of this as if 2015 wasn't a 10-win season but for a technicality.

Yes. As long as the patience is short if it stops moving in the right direction.

Cool, what was the final score and result of the game?
