Seriously If Howard is "that guy"

Why not. I mean seriously. Can you imagine the experience he would gain. I mean it wasn't like we were going to a NY6 Bowl or anything anytime soon.
If he is really the next great LSU QB. Just play him. What would it hurt?

Because we’ve seen true freshmen QBs, including his father, get thrown into really bad situations and do way more harm than good for their career

Maybe Howard is just not ready the plan since he got here was for him to red shirt dude miss a lot of time his senior season with a injury. And why would you want to throw him out there behind this offensive line and RB group. Not all experience is good experience just ask his dad. And truthfully the way this board acts the first mistake he makes they just turn on him and say he's a bust.
