Yeah, it took him a while to get it going there. But he also might be a guy who’s not worth the price tag. He’s a Midwest guy, from Nebraska. Even in the NBA he coached in Chicago, Minnesota, and Indiana.

I worry also but someone has to care enough to at least give enough to elevate the program to a competitive level. I hope the first thing Verge did after straightening out the football situation was to call Shaq to help drum up some support. He is the only person I can see rallying people around MBB.

Shaq has historically not cared about MBB, BUT recently has been taking about what it would take to get LSU back to some kind of prominence
