I think some people are overreacting to a degree.
But I understand people being frustrated by the lack of results on offense. 99% of the fan base is not happy with the results. People have different views on how, why, and when they can be improved. There's nothing wrong with discussing these things on a message board. It has nothing to do with entitlement.

Sitting on their asses and expecting others to deliver for them.

Should be clear to any sentient human that a large majority of the Tiger fanbase has serious entitlement issues.
Let's discuss. Please explain how Tiger fans have these issues.
Because we feel we're entitled to have an offense that doesn't suck after 10 years? Or maybe we feel we're entitled to having the best OC we can find on staff, per the promise from our head coach? Because we're not ok with squeaking out a 7 point win over an absolutely terrible SEC cellar dwelling team?
There was an era when Tiger fans may have felt entitled, but being irrelevant in the SEC race and on the national scene since 2011 has tempered some of that. People like you who are ok with the status quo are the real problem.

So, we should be happy when our passing offense ranks in the bottom 8 along with the worst triple option teams?!

However, it’s apparent in evaluating the program through the first month of the season that a change has to be made. Our commitment to excellence and competing at the highest level is unwavering, and our goals for the remainder of this season haven’t changed. We have an obligation to our student-athletes to put them in the best position to have success on the football field each week and we have great confidence that coach Orgeron will do just that.”
So how is the hiring of Steve Ensminger meeting the above statement?
How is a coach who was hired because of a portfolio built on pay me little and hire the absolute best produce the 104th ranked offense?

You cannot reason with the blind loyalist mouth breathers. I quit trying with any reasonable effort years ago

I guess the General is a better fan than the rest of us. Mediocre is a-ok with the real fans.

frick that. we just beat a 2-7 arkansas team by a touchdown. We don't have to be happy about that.

I remember the 90s real well. I think we are moving forward. I don’t ever want to go back to 2-9

Entitled because we don’t have the patience to wait for a young and experienced o line and WR crew to develop...this shite takes time...we don’t have every luxury in the book (like some other SEC school) to acquire 5 star athletes across the board ready to play on day 1....

I’m trying to remember who wrote it, but after the Saints won the Super Bowl there was an article in the Times Picayune that basically said “the Bags are dead.” No matter how bad the team might get in the future, we’re no longer that franchise. We’ve won a championship and we expect to compete every year. So don’t show up in the Superdome with bags ever again.
And LSU is past that too. We’ve won two championships and from 01-12 was one of the most successful programs in the country.
And that has slipped. Saban has evolved, Les did not. And O is doing the same thing we fired Les for. Barely squeaking out victories against poor teams may look good on paper, but then you see us get exposed against a team like Bama. And it’s only a matter of time before those lucky bounces don’t go our way, like they started to with Les.
So you need to decide what kind of program you want to see. If you’re good with 8-10 wins a year and getting boat raced by Bama while never sniffing a championship, then you’re in good hands. But we ran out the most successful coach this program has ever had and replaced him with a guy that’s doing the exact same thing.
Spare me your rhetoric.

Remember the 90s is such a dumb excuse. LSU has established a standard since then.
