I actually watched those highlights earlier today ironically. Forgot how close that was to not being a touchdown for Early Doucet on the 4th and 10 from Jamarcuss Russell. We also scored on a blocked punt and a blocked FG that game which obviously is rare! Some “home game” for LSU that was... glad the tigers were able to pull out that home win!

Fun fact:
LSU opened up Tiger Stadium for students to watch the game that night. Erin Andrews was there to cover it for ESPN.
We went crazy when Early caught that TD. I’ll never forget that experience.

I had completely forgotten that Les started out wearing short sleeves like a normal coach. Perhaps due to the dry heat in the desert.

Was actually the first time I told my wife I loved her. Was our first time watching a game together as we just started dating a couple weeks before. Completely hammered she screamed at the tv, “where the f*ck is our secondary?”
I said, “you know what a secondary is, I love you.”
She said “I love you too, now let’s watch the game.”
