It doesn’t have to be a public display

I’d laugh if one day in a new release LSU just names all the assistants at once, with no sources on any position beforehand.

Not being ‘Very Hands On’ doesn't mean he’s a Bad Recruiter or that he cant land Highly Rated Classes!

Im fairly certain that he's referring to the fact that LSU is a Public University thats funded via Taxes!

You bitch about him not spending enough time in players' homes, then also complain about him not hiring a staff yet. I'd rather he take a few days to hire the right staff, than just hire the likes of Bo Pelini or Jake Peetz on a whim.
He also needs to familiarize himself with our roster strengths and weaknesses, then give due consideration to many recruits that weren't really on his radar in South Bend. Remember when our last coach signed a lot of great players who didn't really fit our needs and we kinda started to suck because of glaring weaknesses? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Cut me some slack. I've posted an opinion all of 33 times since 1915. I'm very selective in commenting. Tiger on the Rag says he is too involved with his family to "piss and moan" on this site like I do after posting four times a day for four years. I'm still waiting for BlackHelicopterPilot, who have posted on here eight time a day for 18 years, to provide evidence that Kelly is prohibited by the NCAA from recruiting but he's gone into hiding. It was Kelly who brought up the issue of urgency to get things moving and I simply wondered why so little urgency is being shown.
I got your back, buddy. People are WAY too sensitive right now for some reason. I thought your OP was completely fair.
Apparently, some people find it inflammatory to wonder what the head coach is doing after a week on the job and very little public activity.
Who knows, maybe he's having a kick arse recruiting weekend where he's announcing his complete staff this weekend and all the recruits in attendance commit or affirm their commitments. That would be pretty damn cool. But when you look around and every other coach in the area is visibly out recruiting and our guy is mia, it's kind of a head scratcher.

The athletics department is 100% self sustaining and actually gives money to the academic side so therefore no tax money goes into the athletics department coffers

Where is he "bitching"? He's posing some questions and citing visible examples of other coaches operating differently than ours.
This place is overrun with snowflakes this week.

It’s his job to do as he seems fit and he only has to answer to Scott Woodward directly. No one on this board has the stature or standing to question how he goes about his job

I'd rather him take his time to get the hires right than rush and shite the bed with Pelini-like hires. The recruiting class isn't as important as y'all make it out to be. There isn't a lot LSU is going to do to sell new commits. Not enough time. It's better if you can't hit a homerun there with some surprises to save it for the portal to get transfers. You can instantly fill any holes with excellent players in the portal.

. There is a process to follow to be certified to recruit for your new team.
Just to clarify...
Kelly was already certified while he was at Notre Dame.
You are not required to retake the test if you are not changing Divisions. (Each division has a different test)
Kelly will not be required to retest for certification until August or when a new test is released.

Coaches Recert
2020-21 Division I Coaches Certification Q&A
Question and answer 11 plainly says he does not have to immediately recertify if he changes institutions as long as it is in the same division.
