There is a seventy-two hour compliance period once a hire becomes official

When Brian Kelly was named head coach at LSU Nov. 30 he spoke about a sense of urgency leading up to the Dec. 15 early signing date. And yet his first in-home visit apparently will not occur until this Thursday, nine days later. By contrast, Nick Saban spend last week preparing his team to win the SEC title Saturday night and about 36 hours later, he was in Shreveport meeting with Kendrick Law. Kelly also has yet to name a single assistant coach (other than his own son for an unspecified staff position). Orgeron's coaching staff is still meeting with prospects, but their own job uncertainty makes that a very difficult assignment. Some progress must have been made thus far, but it would be nice to know what it is.

I was mistaken. It was a phone call on Wednesday, not an in person visit on Monday or Tuesday.
The in person visit was today (I'm not sure if it was at Madison Prep or an in home).
