PM couldn’t get his players to execute a bunt in a classic manner, but I think JJ is worse. These guys are pathetic bunters, their technique is bizarre.

He had the worst view because the pitcher diving for it and missing it impeded the view of the 1B catching it. I can tell why he would have called it safe because he just saw the pitcher miss the diving catch but couldnt see the 1B catch it behind the pitcher.

You realize it was a suicide squeeze and the batter has to bunt the ball no matter where it is right?
