It is but no one is going to give those guys a lot to hit with no one on anyway. It’s a better option for them to try to work a walk while looking for a mistake pitch to turn into a souvenir. When you bunt your best case scenario is 1st base. When David Ortiz was batting 1st base was his second WORST case scenario.

Don’t like the idea of a freshman throwing two days in a row but we’re not going to play tonight anyway so it doesn’t really matter I don’t guess.
