Look. I completely understand what you are saying here. Is it a free bag IF he gets the bunt down the line against the shift? ABSOLUTELY. No shite.
The fact is you are the meat of the line up against an in-state directional school. If you don’t have the confidence to get a base hit when up 3-runs then idk what to tell you. There are bigger issues there. You don’t bunt when you have a 3-run cushion on a team like this.

All he was trying to do was beat the shift.
I wish mlb players would bunt against the shift more often to be honest especially if it’s to start an inning.

No you don't. You don't understand what anybody is saying one single bit. If you did, you wouldn't have said a word of this....

Doughty starting to look like the guy we thought we were getting.

You’re over here trying to preach the moronic Les Miles “attack their strengths” philosophy and it’s not going well for you.

Glad to see Dugas cleared to play

If everybody could learn to do this, then there would be no more shifts. It would greatly benefit every batter to do this, which is what LSU was probably trying to work on doing in the 7th. If teams can't shift on Beloso, then his already solid average will just rise.

Ok. Your right Cade Beloso and Daniel Cabrera are much better hunters than hitters. This will show throughout the year.

I would still love to see Doughty in the leadoff spot with Mathis batting behind him
