No way laird should ever bat in the 2 hole. I know everyone on here raves about his defense but he isn't smooth at all in the outfield. His speed doesn't matter on offense because he usually hits pop ups and isn't even a good baserunner

He's got a decent arm but he definitely doesn't have the range and ability to track like laird and stevenson. It's makes me just as nauseous seeing Foster play outfield as it does Stevenson at the plate so I'm certainly not sure what I want

Does smoothness really matter, when he has one of the highest fielding percentages in the outfield and routinely takes away would-be gappers?
Especially for a freshman.

Stevenson is better in the outfield. Better arm also. Any RF with any kind of arm would have made a play on the runner that went from 1st to 3rd
