Anyone have an idea of what the fan attendance split will be? Obviously UGA will have a little home field advantage but I would like to think that we will travel well

Remember when Georgia fans took over DV last year?

Alternate colors.

I don’t doubt that we will travel well. It’s just obviously much more accessible to UGA fans, so they’ll more than likely have more fans both in ATL and in the game.

Best case scenario for LSU is 70/30. That was the split at the 2011 SECchampionship game

There are tons of tickets for sale. Why do our fans always request tickets then turn around and sell them? Why not put them in the hands of Tiger fans who would actually go to the game?

Disagree, it was around 60/40 and I would say this game will be closer to 65-35

Apparently it’s 69/31 according to ticket sales/resales

The VividSeats fan forecast on Wednesday called for 69 percent of the crowd to be cheering for Georgia, with the remaining 31 percent rooting for the favored Tigers.

I expect us to be heavily outnumbered. I just don’t want to see UGA fans in the LSU sections, but I won’t be surprised if it happens.

Yep. LSU fans unloaded their tickets to UGA fans and I’d be surprised if that doesn’t happen again this year.

I was there in 2011 and I’ll be there this year.

Don’t LSU fans take pride in how they travel and take over. LSU hasn’t played in this game in 8 years. Fan base is overrated

This may be the least attended LSU SECCG since 2001. Many LSU fans are sitting this one out in anticipation of traveling to a playoff game. The split will probably be 80/20.

We used to travel better than any other fan base. Not anymore. Lots of people unload tickets to make a quick buck. You won’t see the UGA fans doing that. I thought our fans would be hungry after 8 years of not being a factor in the national championship race, but it looks like more of the same.

I had the opportunity to attend the UGA vs. OU semifinal game in the Rose Bowl 2 years ago with some UGA buddies. The Dawg fans took over that place. At least 40K made the trip. It was amazing. I couldn’t help but think to myself that our fans would never do that. If we get sent to Phoenix to play Clemson, I expect a mediocre fan showing from us.

In 2003 LSU presold 40K tickets to the Rose Bowl. YES, LSU fans would go to the Rose Bowl if LSU played in it. Of course we ended up in the NCG in the Dome in 2003.

You would think LSU fans would be hungry for national championship caliber football like it is now. The baseball fans travel well to Omaha but football won’t travel to Atlanta in numbers. Crazy

The wait and see attitude many fans are taking is stupid. Atlanta is an easy and relatively affordable trip. You can’t say that about Phoenix. What will be the excuse if we end up there? The team deserves better.
