evidently texas won their pool because since there was 3 teams tied in the pool they advanced simply because they were the highest seed.
this should be evidence enough of how crappy that format is.
It's little more than a coronation for the top seeds, and massively unfair to the lower seeded teams. Things like that make me glad LSU is in the SEC.
