And, unless you are into quack medicine, advise your patients to get vaccinated.
You seem to have forgotten that...

Sankey is the main reason college football even happened last year, take it easy
The Big XII did. The Big X tried to lead the other way, but the Big XII said screw you guys we're playing, and we're even going to play an out-of-conference game.
Sankey waited to see which way the winds were blowing and after the Big XII did it, alone, he teamed up with the ACC (can't go it alone now can he) and then, and only then, announced.
Along the way pressure was increasing on him and the SEC from both the public and the schools, so the end result was inevitable. However, that's the point. He only was willing to relent to that pressure once he had a partner in the ACC and a leader in the Big XII.
ETA: and that last sentence is probably the biggest predictor of what he will do in this case.

And B/c vaccination rates are materially lower in the SEC states than most conferences, there will be more difficulty in having a "normal" season.
Its likely that the current surge will have a greater impact in the SEC states than other states.

You can still test positive for it. The level of education of this crew is beyond me.

It returns to normal when we stop listening to the overlords.

And when we stop listening to people who regard those who disagree with them as "overlords".
We don't have overlords in this country unless we choose to allow people to compel us to do things.
Its silly, ineffective rhetoric than undermines one's credibility when it is employed.

the truth

I know it's true because the man on TV and blue checkmarks on Twitter told me so!!!
At best, it's a slanted version of "the truth" designed to fear monger. That's it.

You must have studied the art of persuasion in college.

Which conference had a more normal season last year?

The fact remains that this virus kills those with health problems with obesity being the biggie. Kids are safe, as are the vast majority of the healthy population
A 23 year old ER nurse just died of Covid in Lafayette. Young and healthy until Covid. SFrom all reports she chose not to get vaccinated. A 30 year old youth minister in Acadiana (healthy prior to Covid) also just died from it. Chose not to get vaccinated. Both died this past week. Neither was obese. I lost an uncle to Covid and a first cousin is about to have her 3rd trach surgery after spending 12 weeks in the hospital, 3 of those on a ventilator. These were prior to vaccinations being available. Both were healthy prior to Covid. I wonder if people using these generalizations have lost loved ones or seen loved ones seriously ill with long term damage. It's scary as hell regardless of politics.

So they literally changed their minds after two days?

Are they really costing themselves money? TV contracts are guaranteed upfront money.

Didn't this get debunked and she actually died from something else? Even if it didn't, it's such a statistical outlier that it would be incredibly irresponsible to base policy on it. You can stay in a bubble if you're scared.

The fact of the matter is that the Democrat party has weaponized this virus politically since the beginning just like do with everything negative. Never let a bad situation go to waste.

The people who think they'd let this go when everybody's vaccinated
We would need the new booster to get rolled out and then it would move to booster rates. On and on we go.
