Great job!
LSU eliminated, and can slink away from the tournament, removing that embarrassment.
Florida Gators now solidly in the NCAA Tournament, giving the conference an 8th team. Champagne will pop shortly.
Check and check.

I get what you are saying, but I still can't figure out how the refs conspired to make Florida's 3's go in the basket in the second half?

Florida’s 3’s weren’t the difference in the game. They made more in previous games.

24-10 foul differential was.

Did you not watch the game? They were gifted a 6 point play that allowed them to win. The fix was in.

You’re right but damn the threes shouldn’t have mattered. For instance Waters drive late. The guy never stopped backing up and they called a charge. Then the guard is clearly pushing waters with his off hand and we get nothing. Theses things change games

If you watched the fouls called you’ll get my drift.
The number of fouls, and the quality/equity of the calls, really mattered in the game.
See six-point play as example.

I did watch it. You still didn't tell me how the refs got Florida's 3's to start dropping in the second half?

LSU didn’t shoot a single FT in the first half. That hasn’t happened in over 2 years. Not games, YEARS. This, for a team that led the SEC in FT attempts this year.

It would be one thing if LSU decided to jack up a ton of 3’s. They didn’t. I’m far from a conspiracy theorist, but a 14 foul difference seems a bit...strange

Blow a huge lead. Blame Refs.

Makes sense.

The SEC will do whatever they can to devalue our regular season championship. Watch what happens if Kentucky or Tennessee wins the SEC tournament. They will be crowned the “true” SEC champs, or some such BS.

This team has played very inconsistently all season long. They’ve blown large leads, stormed back from huge deficits, played down to competition, then beat the best teams in the league.

Zero consistency.

I'm not trying to say that the refs weren't at least, subconsciously aiding Florida with calls, I'm only saying that if Florida hadn't made 3's in the second half, it wouldn't have mattered. And no type of ref interference can make 3's go in.

Reminded me of the penalty disparity in an LSU vs. Bama football game.

6 point play?????
Benford got T'd up for nothing I've watched Calipari , pearl, Johnson have flipped out on the sideline and nothing.
Add that to the point the gator that was fouled on the play hit his arse on the floor before the shooter let the ball go. It was a bs to all the shot to count which caused the ridiculous technical foul on benford.

Not to mention the easy layups in the lane. If they play D like first half refs have no impact. Let them back in the game and refs can screw the pooch.Should have been up by 20 in first half. need to reduce the "stupid" turnovers and maintain D intensity.
