I’d tell Sankey to go screw himself, but he can’t because all he has is a pussy.

and hey maybe you can prove we did reach out to these guys....
a) So what ? Legal experts all said they have an argument for another year. Why shouldn't we be allowed to explore adding them? Especially when this conference has a precedent for abiding by court orders.
b) Are you going to start kicking everyone out that reached out to these players? I'm sure LSU can easily prove we were not their only offer, just the one they accepted.

This is just such a laughably stupid PR move for the conference that just makes everyone look bad.

The anti-trust component is very tough to prove under the Sherman Act. Not many attorneys would undertake that except for potentially Liz Murrill.

Detrimental reliance and breach of contract are not. The SEC leaving LSU high and dry and down hundreds of millions of dollars after using LSU’s media rights to negotiate a tv deal on LSUs behalf is a slam dunk case.

If I am LSU, I am trying to determine if any other school attempted any similar action. And if so, why the action against LSU solely.

All for that. But who is the replacement?

That's already been rumored on the pay sites. Harris has said that OM recruited him to come back for this season.

Well, then what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Should be Exhibit 1 in the federal suit.

And if he had opted to go back there, you wouldn’t have heard a peep about any of this.

The power brokers in the SEC are scared shitless of a Kiffin-led LSU. Especially after witnessing that beatdown Saturday night.

Help me understand, does the expulsion go into effect immediately, and, if so, does that mean football season would be over? How does this work?

Seems like the 2026-2027 sports year would be toast from a scheduling perspective.

I think they would owe us a lot of fricking money if they did anything effective immediately, whether that is cancelling games or refusing to give us our cut of the tv deal.

Look Buddy, this thread already has one SlowFlowPro fricking it up. There's not enough room for another.

This was never about just Will Wade. The central-east teams (Birmingham etc) and the new additions from the west want this for our entire sports program.
