But in terms of who I would trust to draw up a better scheme and make halftime adjustments on an Xs and Os standpoint, I might lean on Kirby. His tenure as Alabama's DC solidified that.

So you’re saying Kirby is a better assistant coach?

SOLID LIST ???

Some worthless turd scratched this out with chknsht for a brain.

Ed Orgeron # 2 in America ... The only coaches rankings that matter

Saban resting on his laurels but he’s done!

Saban was # 129 on this list (#2 Coach) after he lost to Dabo 44-16.

He’s done see if you can find him

O being behind Kirby is a joke. O has accomplished more in the same time frame with a harder schedule every year.

And we dominated UGA in both head to head matchups

Well, that list is wrong because Orgeron has proven he's better than Smart by beating him both times he's faced him, and I might add GA was supposedly the more talented squad.

Smart is a heckuva a recruiter right now and that's it, he's learned a lot from Saban in that dept., but has a HC he still has a ways to go.

In the writeup for coach O I like how they say that the LSU program is self-sustainable no matter who's at top as the HC, and then right after that they say Les Miles was HC and won a NC there. LOL That's pretty much right because it sure wasn't anything special that he did to win a NC. The LSU brand today is a powerhouse brand that can recruit just in name alone imo, that's how great the program has become, they are recognized around the country as NFLSU.

Besides the obvious head to head record...national championship.. coach of the year..and significantly tougher division... orgeron record of 10 and 1 in last 11 games against top ten opponents is pretty instructive.

Orgeron took over a roster with very good skill talent... below average QB room..and more importantly below SEC average line of scrimmage talent and depth.. with this last recruiting class. Defensive line talent and depth is right there with Bama.. offensive line is close.

The other thing Orgeron has done is completely eliminateD the Huge Bama advantages because of analysts. Kiffin gave Orgeron the Bama game plan for LSU.. Orgeron used that to go to the AD to get an analyst group funded. So coaches and coordinators can coach during game week. And the game plan is available on Sunday night not Wednesday or Thursday

I wish Mason wasn’t stuck at a place like vandy. I think he would be a star anywhere else.

Defensive coach with bad defenses. He has a 36.5% win % lower than Dinardo at Vandy. Franklin proves you can have some success there. Mason is not a star at all.
