SEC observation, MM could get 100 years at LSU and will never compete with guys like Oats or Pope. Don’t know if you watched that game today but we’re not even playing the same sport.

I'm convinced that anyone who defends mcmahon (very few at this point) or says he needs more time doesn't watch any other games. If you watch any team in the SEC other than arkansas, SC, and probably Oklahoma, these other teams are just on a different stratosphere than where we are when many of them started in a similar place. The discrepancy in the level of coaching is obvious and I will gladly come back and eat shite if I'm wrong but I have a feeling that discrepancy will once again be put on display tn

What’s funny about that is the posters you mentioned use the “no talent” excuse as the main talking point but in reality the talent on the roster is the only thing that ever gives us a chance. If MM had Vandys roster we’d be worse than we were his 1st season.

Just shows what a solid coach can do. Also kind of supports what I’ve been saying about the misconception of the SEC this season. The rest of the country is way down and the SEC is a little better/deeper but not this alltime greatest conference some have claimed.

It also makes the Tigers loss to Vandy more tolerable. They lost in the waning minutes. The loss was greatly attributable to the play of Vandy's physical center. The loss of Jalen Reed was a big factor in this game. The game was not lost due to coaching issues.

We led for the first 2 minutes of the game and for 8 seconds In the 2nd half. They were up double digits most of the game and outscored us by 9 in the final minutes. Losing to not garbage teams isn’t a good thing, that’s a recent coping mechanism that’s been spawned here and is exclusive to MM apologist.

It's pretty sad that they're relegated to taking victory laps when teams that beat us, beat other teams.

But I've called it before, that's what they do.

No one is taking a victory lap. You just have Madking doubling down on making the Vandy team less than they are.

Missouri is whipping Arky right now. The logical takeaway would be that we didn’t beat a good team but mcmen logic would be to beat your chest over losing to Mizzu. Think about how backwards that is. It’s 100% specific to our fan base, nobody else would come up with such a deranged coping strategy.

Why do you always lie?

How do you claim calling something “Not garbage” is calling something garbage?

I don’t understand the copium On here. It’s like they want to will MM To be some great coach that he isn’t, just to make a weird point about WW. I just want successful LSU basketball again, I don’t care who the coach is. But one thing I think we all are realizing is obvious it is not MM

You just hit the nail on the head. They’re not MM fans, they barely pay attention to BB. They’re anti WW fans who hate the actual BB fans.

Poster bumped the thread to post Vandy beat Tennessee.

Then followed up that LSU losing to Vandy by 8 in the PMAC is therefore not that bad and the only reason we lost is Jalen Reed and it has nothing to do with coaching.

If that's not victory lap, it's victory lap-ish.

The only thing he left out was the 15 turnovers by LSU in that game also has nothing to do with coaching, but I guess he's leaving that to puffnstuff.

You know what a true fan wants? Is LSU to beat Vandy and Tenn and both of them can go to 8 timeouts and cancel the game when they play each other.

College hoops is changing but like I’ve said for 3 years, we’re 6-7 years behind the trends both on and off the court. But just give him enough time so we can’t ever catch up.

Same feeling watching Ole Miss/MSU. McMahon might've been a decent hire in the SEC of a decade ago but not now.
