The bracket flips doesn't it? So if LSU beats Kentucky then they'd get the winner of the losers bracket game on the other side in the semis.

Despite the confusing appearance of the SEC's bracket, no flipping is involved. Teams in opposite brackets don't meet until the championship game.

Well I'd be fine with that. But then the committee could use the old you didn't make your conference tourny to not give a bid to the 9th place team. But even then with a 8 team true double elimination format you could still end up playing 6 games. We did in 2009.

Rooker is no Rookie. Just tied up the game in the Top of the 9th w/a double.

Let me just go ahead and add the championship game is single elimination. Matters not if you came from the winners or losers bracket.
