He was avoiding getting hit by a rocket back up the middle by Ibara and landed on his ankle wrong and broke it.

Uhh no. Auburn was great help with sciambra last year. They went above and beyond helping out with him.

If lsu were playing an away game, I could absolutely see another teams fans like ole miss, miss state, or auburn booing the injured player.

You're right. I live here and was there and they even asked me later how he was doing. They have a few jerks, but overall they are ok baseball fans.
