Tre not being named to All-SEC second team is a snub

Not really, considering the outfielders who made 1st & 2nd teams

1st:
Petry
Crews
Langford

2nd:
Alderman
Bradfield Jr
Pickney

While I said yesterday that it was disappointing for this team to not win the SEC regular season…

I’ve had such great joy watching these two future pros wear purple and gold. Congrats to both of those young men. Two all time LSU greats.

Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year with the most talented Roster in College Baseball and they can't even win the SEC Championship or SEC West.

Get yalls shite together and play dominant LSU Baseball from here on out........

Who told you that?

This roster was devoid of quality pitching depth in January, and has only gotten worse since then due to injuries and underwhelming development from our transfer portal pitchers.

You don't have any weird PIMger references for baseball?

Agreed. Can't justify putting Tre in front of any of these guys. I think they named Dickey from Tennessee as a 4th 2nd team OF too. Basically saying Pinckney and Dickey are Co selections for the 3rd OF spot.

If anything I’d say Bohrofen from Arkansas hitting .341 not on the list over Bradfield hitting .295 is the robbery.

I'm thinking Skene's statue at the box should have a plane flying over his head

I agree with this. Morgan was a stud and a leader.

It has nothing to do with fielding. It is 100% about hitting. Tre is good, but has nowhere near the numbers of the other guys.

They are a great pair to watch and be proud of. I would think Tommy White for next year.

Wow, I thought they announced these towards the end of the week when the tourney got down to four or so teams left.

In regards to Morgan, you typically need to hit better than .304 with 7 HR and 40 RBI for such recognition...so not surprising.

Hell yeah, well deserved.

Has anyone previously won POY in back to back years?
