1.) Where is Chad Ducre? (He looked like Herschel Walker in high school but can't seem to get on the field here)

2.) Does Mickey Joseph look like he has any clue how to effectively coach WR's or is he yet another Ball/Craig that can only recruit?

3.) Any differences at all between McMillan and Scott for #2 behind Etling.

Do you mean David Ducre, who ran 4.42 during his last year of high school. Currently at FB, which is primarily a blocking role. Did just that today, and well. Like you, I would like to see this guy carry the ball too.

I don't know that I quite agree on your Ball assesment. I thought that he did a pretty good job coaching WRs while he was here. To answer question, Joseph seems to be doing a fine job coaching up these guys. First order of business has been to snuff out any prima donna mindsets, and replace it with that blue collar mindset. Both he and Canada have been tough on this group.

Both guys have shown a command for the offense. Scott seemed to have his way last week, while McMillan looked improved in today's scrimmage. It appeared that Scott's drives were a bit longer, so his rep count may have been a bit more (at least from what I remember).

- Arm strength - McMillan (strongest arm of the 3, though each has demonstrated the ability to drive the ball down field).
- Accuracy - Both have done a great job in this category. In practices that I've seen, Scott may have the edge here. All 3 were on target today.
- Mobility - They both can run, with good speed. Scott is shiftier, and more suited for inside run game. McMillan looks to create in space.
- Command of the offense - they both look very comfortable and knowledgeable
- Height - McMillan obviously taller at legit 6'2"
- Off the field - Some would call them "Laid Back" vs "Film Rat". McMillan seems to exude that cool easy going demeanor, whereas Scott the exact opposite. Scott and Etling are more similar in that regard.

-Production in two scrimmages - Scott 1 Rushing TD, 1 passing TD. McMillan 1 Passing TD. These guys look like they know what their doing. Right now you could probably pick your poison and be just fine.

Things sound very promising.

Bout time we had an offense that will keep defenses guessing.

Scored a TD on a great play call that confused the D.

a long Etling to Davis TD (the initial play of the scrimmage)

First play wasn't a toss dive? It really IS a different offense!

Is Donte Jackson gonna be that Lockdown cb were used to? KT2 I think will shine this year but I wander if Fulton or greedy may end up as the #2 corner ? I like Donte as a NB anyway and PR.

He should be. Donte wasn't a full time DB in HS so it's taken some time to adjust. He's become an awesome CB now.

If this defense can continue its tradition of being a bona fide run stopper, I see no reason to doubt that anyone in the secondary could be a star. DJ has certainly shown the freakish ability to make plaus, and at times, has been the leader throughout practices as that he seems to be the most vocal amongst his teammates. Force the throw. Then we can make plays

Thanks for the reply. I'm feeling good about Etling being good enough and experienced enough to be the qb we need to contend. From what u have seen do u feel that way?
