I actually remember that we had some good ones under Archer or Hallman. McCorvey and somebody else...

Webster & Daniels weren't too shabby either.

No doubt to match his own intelligence & play-calling levels!

See thats the shite that pisses me off about Crowton, why not shorten the JJ release.
I tell you one thing if my job security rested on a kid like JJ grasping my offense, I would work with him like Hellen Keller's tutor in the off season.

nice.

Hope that carries over.

A solid punter can be a gamechanger. Kessler and Jones dictated the opposing team's offensive gameplan.

What if he did?

Yes, Jefferson's release is very slow. I've always thought it resembled that of a baseball pitcher. Of course, with Crowton as the OC, little, if anything, has been done to correct that over the last three years!

True, but you would think that priority #1 for the coaches would be to instill some confidence in the passing game, and to start off with the easiest situations possible to accomplish that.

It clearly was not. It was clearly designed to work on the running game.

Well its not some quircky motion, in fact its pretty common for kids outta high school to have a 'wind up' motion, and some of that has to be cleaned up. So that is what is so baffling, its not a crazy motion you just cant touch or all hell will break loose on his control, its so common to have to shorten your motion. It just shows the lack of Qb development under GC. There is no denying it. No way Jimbo would let JJ keep that motion, and if JJ ever goes pro, i do not think he will, that is all you will hear about, is JJ's long motion and how it was left unchecked at LSU.

Isn't Wing the punter from Parkview that the guy was raving over last year?

Which should hopefully improve the passing game indirectly.

The running game was terrible last year, allowing DL's to tee off on our QB.

Yeah, and outside of PP's INT, passing was 10-21 for 150 yds and 1TD. See how easy that is?

So you're saying no matter how you cut it, the passing game still sucked donkey dick?

BilJ - How did Williford look? There's no way he goes unnoticed unless he sucks balls....which I doubt.
