should have done this day one.

got ride of a terd

saved the buyout

got a good man and good ambassador

got a man with a good judge of talent

only had to make him sign a clause to stay away from the offense for LSU football like a moral clause

Second stint as st coach, we were better in every single category except kick off coverage in his first season. It went to shite the year after

Yes, a POSITION coach. He may be good at that, but anything above, he is abysmal. Due to the shite he gave us for those other years, he needs to stay away.

Did you like to see him up Miles' arse over the past few years? Seems that when the shite hit the fan, he was always there. Coincidence? I think not.

I think at this point some of you make things up based on how you all wanted it to happen...

Come on man, have you watched any games over the past 8 years?

Like I said, he may be a great guy, but everything he touched went to shite. Hell, HE WAS FIRED from a FCS school.

His time at LSU has expired and I wish him the best.

This! I used to say the same thing about Miles for AD, but after watching him refuse to change and they had 5+ million$ reasons to change. Him being so hardheaded changed my mind quick

Yes, he sucked as a DC and Special Teams has fallen off the last 3. However, he does have some good years/units before that. I mean I know acknowledging that means we can't slam and degrade former coaches but still.

and? what does that have to do with him working as a LB coach or in charge of Special Teams at LSU?

Are people really ignorant that Cam was only here for 3 years....

Gary Crowton 3 years
Kevin Steele 1 year....

etc.... LSU and Les made changes to the staff over and over.... however, that doesn't fit the narrative, I know.

Les gave us Bo Pelini, John Chavis, and Dave Aranda...

his hire of Kragthorpe, Cameron, Crowton, Grimes, etc was praised on this board and others at the time of those hiring's... now people say, "see he refused to change." It is comical at this point in my opinion.

F that craziness. Bradly Dale would be the basketball coach.
He'd probably fire the football staff and hire himself again.

And? His record over the past 8 years have shown me that he has regressed. Just like Miles was a championship coach who refused to evolve, BDP must have as well.

His Special Teams ere shite the past 2 years, so that should tell you something.

Why are you defending the guy so much? Move on and coach somewhere else if you want to "prove" everyone wrong. His time at LSU has expired, it happens to the best of them.

What exactly is his record? I mean he is a position coach for crying out loud

I've said that, however, they were perfectly fine before that. So was the issue with the regression the players, the scheme, or what?

Why are some of you re-writing the actual history with the make believe history?

It has and now people are making up what happened. It is what it is... I've said it was time for him to go, I said two years ago it was SEC Championship game or bust....

Him being gone isn't a problem for me, I just like correcting those who are making up "facts" as they like to call them.

Hell no. Glad he is gone. I would rather deal with Alleva.

He should be fundraising for LSU. TAF does ok but our non athletic fundraising is laughable compared to the rest of the country with similarly sized universities.

I get what you are saying man, but by record, I mean his TRACK record. You cannot seriously tell me that he has done ANYTHING in the past 8 years that looks remotely like a winner. Every unit he has been assigned to since then (including the HEAD COACH at an FCS school) has no gone well at all.

I am done arguing with you on this, you obviously have some connection to the man and won't look at facts.

And it is amazing after Miles got fired and Coach O put Pevato just on special teams how much our punting and kick off's got so much better. Really don't know what was the problem there

Which outside of his stint as DC and the last few years has been solid... so again not sure what is the point. Has special teams fallen off, yes. He needed to go, but to say he sucked his entire tenure is entirely false.

Again you mention FCS, that is irrelevant when discussing LSU.

You haven't posted anything remotely close to a fact. You just keep repeating, "Look at his last 8 years...." is if that is some sort of fact.
His first year back at LSU they ranked 34th in Net Punting, 70th in punt return yardage, 4th kick off return yardage, 78th in blocked kicks, 1st in blocked kicks allowed, and I can't see a stat for FG percentage.

people make stuff up about Alleva and then want to can him. 90% of the crap during our HC search was made up and it was wrong. then it gets passed around on here and other places and people take it as fact. this country is fricked because people just believe what they WANT TO and don't question rumor or unsupported claims.

one thing that IS fact is that les miles has zero experience as an AD, ZERO. from what I observe he would be a terrible AD.
