If LSU were able to get Moussa Cisse like they were supposed to this would be a final 4 possible National championship type team. Our only weakness is low post size and rebound which he would’ve fit in perfect for. So frustrating. This will still be a great team but throw him in the mix and it would’ve been special.

He was trending on twitter earlier. Apparently nobody is a fan of his call anymore. During the Louisville/Kentucky game, all he could do was wax poetic the Wildcats and Duke.

He’s averaging 8 rebounds and nearly 2 blocks per game in ~ 20 minutes of play. For a team that doesn’t need his scoring, I’d say those numbers would be a BIG help for LSU.
Would he make this a Final Four team? Probably not. They are still far too inconsistent (if we’re being kind) on defense. But having him blocking shots could definitely mitigate some of LSU’s otherwise poor defensive play

Like the other guy said he’s averaging 8 rebounds a game we could use that all day. And the rim protection which doesn’t show up on the stats sheet other than blocking stats which don’t give the whole story

Cisse is averaging 7ppg 8 rebounds and 2 blocks per game in 20 min. During his recruitment, here was a huge spat about how the guy would fair his freshman season. A lot of people said he would average around what KBW gave us, some people thought that was complete ignorance and he was the second coming of shaq. There is a lot of season left, but it looks like he is a KBW clone.

To be fair, I doubt anyone on this site knows how his rim protection has been. Take James Wiseman for example, everyone thinks he’s this great rim protector because of his size and block numbers, but in reality he’s really bad because he consistently misses rotations, lacks the lateral quickness to rotate, etc etc.
Not saying Cisse is like that because I have no idea, but I’ll be interested in watching next time I get the chance.
