How so?

You don't think Miles or JJ wanted to win?
Yeah, maybe. Not sure. They think they are better than everybody when they clearly aren't.

Miles thought the best chance was to keep Lee in. . .He made that call. I don't feel it was the right decision. . .but to say he wasn't trying to win, is just retarded.
Lee didn't play.
If he was trying to win with just JJ then he is one fricking idiot. JJ is not Tebow/Cam/VY type player. JJ is terrible, so 2009.

C'mon. A phone call? Erin Andrews got one
Miles called Lee but Lee didn't answer or return his call because he's been busy with All-star games and trying to move and all.
See I can make assumptions based off o zero facts just like you.

Les was trying to win by calling speed options on 3rd and 10, calling fb dives on 3rd and 4, and running the ball 10 straight times in the 4th quarter down 15-0.
What a thirst for winning!

Oh, and punting on 4th and 3 down 15-0

Was it the right call? I don't think so. . .but my financial well-being doesn't ride on these decisions.

Yeah

It is just how Miles rolls. Imagine if the fake punt vs. UF last year had tanked? He would have looked like an idiot.

That's what coaches are paid to do. . .
To say he didn't want to win makes you almost disposable in your absurdity.

I'm generally a Miles supporter, but Lee got jobbed in the NC.

Selective editing on your part, nice.
Miles is either an idiot sticking with JJ or he absolutely hates Lee enough to lose the biggest game of the year.
Tough spot for you and Miles.

Doesn't make him an idiot. To say he is an idiot presupposes it was the wrong call.
You and I may think it was the wrong call, but nobody knows it was the wrong call.

I don't believe for a second that CLM didn't want to win.
But to just say "those were the calls he made, it's what coaches are paid to do"...
You do realize that given the calls, this doesn't exactly paint him in any more of a favorable light, don't you?

If he did want to win, then he was an epic idiot and called on it nationally.
And he doesn't deserve he salary either way.

I just don't side with the people who think Miles did out of meanness.

I think you are the one that needs some solace and counseling. . .not Lee.
The kid is trying to get a pro contract. How much do you think it might mean to hear some encouragement from Miles? Miles coddled JJ, but cant seem to bring himslef to even lie to Lee to give him maybe a little something to move forward with
Like I said, Miles has lost a lot of respect with most people I know. If nothing else, having Lee say in this interview that Miles has called, yadda, yadda would build some bridges
I just dont think Miles cares

OMG Miles didn't call the head case qb to wish him luck!
Some of you really need to:
A) Get a life
B) Take a long walk
C) Get some pussy, so just maybe you will get off this dudes dick! Aaahhhckkk that is the sound of u deepthroating him now!
You right it might have been a 12-2 season without his #1 pick.

Uh, after that first half, I think it was pretty apparent to Stevie Wonder that it was the wrong call.

I vote for third option. Miles wanted to prove to the world that no one was going to tell him what to do and his ego wanted so bad to show everyone that JJ was the better QB, that he was willing to go down with JJ and surely not to let Lee come in and show to be the better Qb in front of everyone.
Miles EGO = LSU nation's angst and disgust.

He always has. It is who he is. . .
When his Mad Hatter schtick works out, everybody loves it.
When it doesn't, people say he didn't want to win the game.

The man has great class and character. Proud to have him as part of the team when todays players are all about themselves. Got a feeling that if he makes it to the NFL he might stick around a little while, if not you will see him coaching somewhere just might be here at LSU.
