Les and company saw Lee at his worst against Bama, and for right or for wrong stuck with JJ as what they saw as the safer option. You can disagree with the decision, especially the total lack of JL snaps later on, and that would be perfectly understandable. But to act like it makes Miles a bad person or the decision makes no logical sense is small minded. And right now, there are plenty of LSU fans acting like small minded individuals right now.

Miles doesn't play favorites with personalities. Miles picked what he saw as the safer QB, and he ran with it. He may have been completely wrong to do so, but why in the hell do so many have to be drama queens about it when Lee certainly isn't?

this is what I dont understand. I think he made a dumbass decision to not try Lee. However I dont think that makes him a bad person. If he honestly believed JJ gave us a better chance (no matter how wrong he may have been) doesnt that mean that he would be doing wrong by the other 10 players on the field by not giving (in his mind) them the best chance to win? As for the guy calling him a "liar" I am assuming that is about the 2 qb system and lack there of in the last 5 games and comments like there was a want for him to see the field. I think Lee should have played however if he didnt trust Lee what did you want him to say? "I think he is going to throw INTS thats why Im not playing him"? As bad of a decision it was it doesnt make him a "bad no character person" for not playing Lee. It just makes it a dumb football decision.

They might have not called but this article doesn't prove that. I think it is just another example of people reading what they want to read.

Also worrying about if the coaches called lee is another example of people getting way too attached to a player's emotions. That's getting way too deep and I don't see the point.

Keep crying and continue your campaign against Miles. I'm sure you'll start an identical thread like this tom with some more rumors and conjecture that you will use to say Miles pissed on Lee. And I'm the child.

Then why no encouragement since then to Lee?

That game is over. Why cant Miles offer ANY comfort to Lee? Lee said hes gotten NONE, ZERO, NADA, NOTHING

Sounds like a character issue to me, because football decisions no longer matter

Yes.
Why?

He says nothing that even hints at that. . .

He just says he hasn't had time to talk to any of the coaches about the BCS Championship game. What gives you a reason to think he is saying otherwise?

You don't think you are getting a little too attached to lee's emotions?

Especially after all of the "not calling" lee is pure conjecture on your part if you are taking it from the article.

How so?

You don't think Miles or JJ wanted to win?

Miles thought the best chance was to keep Lee in. . .He made that call. I don't feel it was the right decision. . .but to say he wasn't trying to win, is just retarded.

How do you know he hasn't? He said he hasn't talked to the coaches about not getting in the game.

He sounds pretty good with it. . .doesn't sound sad or upset. . .seems to have moved on, even.

Perhaps you should follow his example.

It said he hasnt been given a reason for the decision. It never said anything that he hasnt spoken to the coaching staff. What do you want Miles to do call him up and say "Sorry son I didnt trust you with the ball late in the game?" I doubt that Les or any of the coaching staff didnt say a word to Lee after the clock went to 00:00 on the 9th.

Seems Lee is. . .or maybe he is saying that of everything going on in his life, a reason not playing in that game ranks pretty damn low.

I think you are the one that needs some solace and counseling. . .not Lee.

That kid is awesome.
