Scheme was bad, but then when it wasn’t we didn’t make the play…

This game was lost in Fall camp….terrible spacing by the WR’s, no identity on offense, soft up front except for a true freshman who was in yesterday because of an injury, bad QB recognition of open lanes to run through when the defense is turned and running away from him…..defense still can’t get pressure on the QB without blitzing, although they have set the edge better than they have over the past 5 years….

TE Sharp is terrible, TE Green is a liability except for jump balls, which we throw at his feet…

While I don’t think MVB is a better QB than Nuss, you have to give him a chance to just be an athlete since that is the only hope to move the sticks at this point

MVB is mobile so he is already an upgrade over the scared pussy we have now.

If he can complete 60-65% of passes under 20 yards and 30% over 20 yards, he’s an upgrade all the way around

Agree with this.
Losing Mubenga, Anderson in game with Weeks getting hurt and limited as well as having Durham and Davis unavailable, really didn’t help matters.

This is oline coaching.

It’s a poorly coached team

Exactly. TE Green plays like he just put on pads for the first time. Being 7 ft tall doesn't mean squat when you can't locate the ball and the DB out jumps you by 15 inches.

Treydez drops a lot of balls. Sharp isn't good either. I thought this would be a strong suit.

I think Nuss at 100% health is better than MVB. But he is not close to 100% health. Need something to open up the damn offense, to scramble when things are not going well. Absolutely need that.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind right now that Van Buren would not play worse than what’s going on out there right now.

Things are fukin mess and you are better off being a mess with a QB who has the nuts to pickup and run.

It absolutely opens up everything on the field and if Nuss isn’t healthy and can’t run it’s time to sit.

He has two weeks.

I'm glad someone finally said this. Everyone focuses on Green's 'measureables' but the guy looks like a basketball player trying to play football. The one advantage he has, height, is wasted with absolute crap execution. In the little bit of action Donovan Green has had, he looks like an actual athletic tight end.
