That scenario makes no sense. With that logic UGA would have jumped LSU in 2007.

More serious question (sort of), do Bama fans revolt after Saban loses to LSU for a 3rd straight season?

Our SOS will continue to improve. Plus if we win SECCG game it would be a near lock.
Bama also avoids the top 3 teams in the East. Their signature win would be over Michigan.

If LSU wins out, they will have beaten USCe, Bama, A&M, State, and either Fla/USCe/UGA. Methinks LSU's computer ranking will improve considerably if that happens.

Realistic?
No. You think a team we beat would jump us after we win the SECCG?

That is an interesting possibility. Towson and Idaho really hurt us in the computers. You have to assume (hope) that a victory in the SECCG would cause all the hold out human pollsters to solidify behind the us.
I'm curious to see where the rankings shake out if SC would beat FL next week (and we handle ATM)... who of us 3 will be highest in the polls...would it be LSU, SC, FL? (either way, if we beat Bam the following game we would be ahead of either of them).

Their SOS was shite last year

Let's cross that bridge when we get there...

Why do you think the computers don't like us?
We are the top 1-loss team in the BCS ranking.
And if we somehow beat A&M, Bama, Miss St & Fla, the computers will LOVE us.... prolly more than they love an undefeated OR, ND or K-St.
And, if we somehow win out (HUGE if), and OR, ND & K-St each lose one, we just might play Bama in Miami.
If that happens, the whole space-time continuum may unravel and vaporize the earth, before we even get to a college football playoff system.
We can't worry about our opponent. Totally beyond our control.
But at least for now, we still control our own destiny.
So just win baby. One game at a time.

If we beat Bama and win out, we win the division and go to Atlanta. If we win in Atlanta, there is NO WAY Alabama gets in over us.

Are you saying Bama is entitled? 'Cuz if you are I agree.

Are you fricking nuts? The computers have LOVED LSU in the past. That's how we made it to two NC games.
And NO WAY IN HELL that we beat Bama, win the SEC championship game and Bama jumps us into the NC game.
Good try though.

One of the computer's has us currently ranked at 17th.
Computer aggregate has us at 9th.
Sure, if we win out we will go up but PC's may not be "ours" this year...supposing, of course, that the Mayan's don't come back leading an alien colonization of the earth before then.

NO WAY.
Incredibly stupid of the OP to even think this. Now, if everybody finishes with 1 loss, LSU-Bama rematch is likely, very likely, but it IS NOT POSSIBLE for 12-1 SEC chap LSU to be left out in favor of 11-1 Bama the lost head to head to LSU. Repeat, NOT POSSIBLE

I've never read a post I agree with more.
This needs to be pasted into every dumb thread started for the rest of the season. If LSU wins out, we'll likely see Bama again in Miami.

I think if 'everybody' finishes with one loss, we are looking at LSU/USCw in the title.
