When he misses he puts it where only the receiver has a chance to catch the ball so even his misses are good throws

Yeah a lot of his near misses are actually throwaways. I noticed that Saturday.

Those GIFs make me proud at how well the OL protected Burrow against Auburn. I hope they can keep it up, because that's what we've been lacking for a while. A good O-line turns an average QB to a good QB. Burrow's better than average alone.

i like running from the gun. wished miles woulda done it.

Oddly, we actually did some of this against A&M in 2014. We almost had 400 yards rushing, and Jennings ran for over 100 himself.

Granted, A&M's rush defense sucked as usual, and it made sense to change things up after getting shutout by Arky the prior week, but that was the last instance I can think of where Les really tried to run from the gun.

Man, I really appreciate articles like that. That is good journalism.

Using gifs appropriately to demonstrate a point, good insight into formations, etc.

Bravo, fricking Bravo.

It really sucked when they made the comment about imagining Fournette fun through holes that size... what could have been

Yep.

Holy shite, Fournette and Guice would house some of these 10 yard runs Brosette is getting from the spread spacing.

Imagine Leonard Fournette operating in space like this:

thats why us missing out on Cam Akers or travis Etinne was so huge... if we had a signature back like we've always had the offense would be smokin... teams really dont respect our run game anymore, they are going to make us pass the ball to beat them... Auburn almost succeeded in doing that...

He makes very intelligent decisions commanding the offense. Even with a low completion rate. It should really improve as they continue to get time together.

I really wish somehow we could get Emery.

I hated missing out on Etienne (not Akers) and I hated missing out on Pooka as a homerun complimenting back. Getting Emery would make up and have me so excited.

Spot on.
Here’s a key stat. No interceptions yet.

There has been no reason to risk the ball although those turnover chain tards had a couple of chances in the first game.

Joe Burrow is a warrior. I like his attitude, skill, effort, moxie and he is a great teammate.

That fourth down pass on the game winning drive last week in “Whatever the name of that stadium is” sealed the deal. I’m ridin’ with Joe!

In the Miami game he threw it away instead of taking a sack multiple times. Something that only looks bad on the stat sheet to your avg sidewalk fan or ESPN “analyst”

If anyone can't see the difference between Burrow and Etling, they shouldn't be commenting on QB play.

Shows Burrow is helping team win even if it doesn't show in the box score

Anybody who watched those games should have seen that

But make no mistake, Burrow is an accurate QB who will make the big throws. The majority of his incompletions thus far have been drops, intentional throwaways, and tipped/disrupted passes.

This happens to every QB in the country, yet many complete 60%+.

The best thing you can say about Burrow right now is that he's not losing games and it's still early in his time here. He should get better. The rest of the excuses can be used for every QB in the country.

He seems to have "it" as they say. Gets better when the game is on the line. Like a Matt Flynn mentality.
