Saw your scrimmage stats. Did Coach O indicate it was 1s vs 1s?

With your losses to NFL and no Arden Key, I wouldn't declare anything top 5.

Can't wait to see BYU players faces when they realize they can't compete with our horses.

Trying to think of the last time we didn't pump a few NFL starters into the league

D hasn't been getting worse for 15+ straight seasons

I remember one time in 2011 an Oregon fan told us similar after losing the top player on every level of our 2010 D to the NFL: Drake Nevis, kelvin sheppard, and this guy named Patrick Peterson. 2011 D turned out alright

It'll hurt but the defense is still in great shape. Could finish better than they did last season.

Has this been confirmed?

Good to see some BYU fans on here, btw.

Oh yeah, we're serious. LSU's defense will be the best that BYU faces all year after losing a stupid amount of talent to the NFL draft and not having next year's projected 1st round pass rusher available for our game.

I realize that it sounds stupid so come on back to this board after the game and tell us what you think about our D. They might drop down to top 10 stats but they shouldn't end up lower than that.

Lol. We have 5* guys that play ST's because they can't get on the field for our defense. Not to mention, Dave Aranda is the best DC in college football.

Can't wait to see your coaches face when Keys on one side and Chaisson is on the other........Familiarize yourself with the names K'Lavon Chaisson, Grant Delpit, Todd Harris, and Kary Vincent..........4 True Freshmen that you will say "who the hell is that animal?"

Not saying that can't happen, but it would be the exception and not the rule for the last 45 years of BYU football. We hear it from opposing fans every time we are about to play P5 programs. The talent discrepancy is never what the P5 fans expect. And seeing their faces when that realization hits home is almost as tasty as their tears after their team loses.

Please let your coaches play as many True Freshmen as they can. BYU fans would welcome the chance to see them experience D1 against their first collection of angry Tongans and Samoans.

I, unlike most here, expect a hell of a fight from BYU. Until sometime in the 3rd quarter.
That's where my opinion differs from yours.
About midway through the 3rd is where I expect to see the effects of the wearing down of BYU.

The only team on our schedule we aren't able to wear down by Q4 is Alabama. No offense to you or your scrappy good team.

I saw BYU's scrimmage stats and BYU's offense was forced into 7 turnovers by the BYU defense.

Rather than worry about LSU's stats, you may want to suggest to BYU's coaching staff that it quit conducting scrimmages to music and worry about how it's going to prevent LSU's defense from beating the BYU offense like a rented mule based upon how the BYU offense got handled by a much less talented defense during an intra-squad scrimmage.

I'm not saying it's impossible for BYU to win, but not one player on that BYU team has played against a team as talented as LSU. Y'all could be overwhelmed or y'all could handle it pretty well and give us a great game. We'll see.
