Calm down Nancy . I have followed LSU since 1973 . I graduated from LSU. I have a kid there now and two on the way. I’ve forgotten more LSU history than you ever knew .
Those straw men you built are not my views . They are your own shitty and mediocre ruminations.
I was simply ACCURATELY pointing out what a painful season it was , and how absolutely melty people were about it . I specifically recall this board being a special kind of shitfest. Because I always make the point that people are too busy hating on LSU football to enjoy LSU football.

You mean to tell me with all that we still went 9-3? Where’s your criticism of that team? Why don’t you hold that staff to the same standard you hold this one to? The way you talk we should be winning titles every year so why aren’t you shitting on that team who had a better roster and coaches? Why are you singing the praises of a staff that had a large portion of a national title team returning but had the same record as this team?

It’s this HCs first year what did that HC do his first year? Oh yea he went 8-4 stop making excuses and moving the goal posts to try and cover up your double standard and bias agenda.

The least common denominator will bitch if we win 56-0 because it wasn’t 62-0 or we punted once. That doesn’t mean all criticism is invalid all the time.

what was the record the year or 2 before the 2004’coach went 8-4 his first year vs before the current coach took over? I’d say context matters but You are such a Buffon you won’t get it. But you’re right this staff is totally the same as the 2004 staff that had a HC with 5 NCs and OC that won one as a HC and was just signed to one of the biggest deals on CFB and a DB coach that won 4 NCs as a DC and in year 2 as a HC win the SEC and is in the playoffs. As usual you can’t make a counter point so you twist what i said in an attempt to derail the topic. You’re actually trying to take a sarcastic comment and build an argument to counter it lmfao. You refuse to be objective you use two sets of standards to judge everyone els and Ogeron, every one of your post is an agenda driven attack with no objectivity whatsoever. What’s more sad is it’s all for nothing, nomatter how you try to bend reality in your narratives actual production will determine our new coach’s tenure and not your little tantrums.

Since O did do better in year 1 then we should expect him to do better in year 2 also, so anything short of an SEC title and top 5 finish should be unacceptable

When you have to cherry pick time frames and bring up meaningless factoids it suggests you are the one obsessed and are insecure that the Aggies AD was able to hire a coach our incompetent AD could not.

There's no way we could or should have hired him if 10 years and 75 mill was the price tag. Absolutely no way. There's one coach who deserves that and he already left.
