who is J Williams

John Williams - recruited by Dale Brown in the 80s, phenomenal talent. Never actually played a game in the Assembly Center (just mailed it in).

I am not saying that the Gridiron club isn't ALUM/Students/Fans it is ones that have paid $300 more than Students who sell the shirt off their back to get into a lottery system to see 3 games a year..but can't watch a scrimmage.
What I am saying is it isn't about it being all secretive or NOBODY would be allowed in the stadium..it's about the "privilege" of paying for the "clearance" to watch. Making the Students/Alumni/Fans who pay $300 to the Athletic Club feel more special than the Students/Alumni that keep the University going.

I highly doubt anyone there feels "more special" than anyone else. Everyone there knows they weren't "selected" because of superior fanhood. They were there because they joined the club. I still don't see where you are coming from.

And fwiw, the club people weren't the only ones allowed in.

Most Grid iron club members were students at some point. We know it sucks and you can't afford much. We were there. Its like being a freshman or a first year medical student or a first year resident or first year trying to work your way into a partnership. Pay you dues. Work hard and one day you can choose or not choose to donate hard earned money that afford you perks others don't. It's capitalism and the american way. Get over it freshman.

You must be a fricking idiot to post that..How is that like eating at Picadilly? The shrimp and steak is $27..The bill for me and my worker with tip is usually $80...You only eat at places that cost over $100 for 2 people? I bet you are in the minority here..Well IQ wise you are for sure.
