You'd think anyone who watched LSU closely last season wouldn't need statistical evidence that:
-- Hester was clearly the short-yardage back.
-- Scott is the only one of the four (Scott, Holliday, Williams, Murphy) with the body type and makeup to be the lead short-yardage back.
-- You can't gain 7 yards from inside the 2.
Crowton pretty much said all three on that video from Media Day someone posted here. Seems pretty cut and dried. I don't think the column was meant to counter every ranter argument as to why Hester shouldn't have had the ball so much last year. I think it was only to show that yards-per-carry stats can be misleading.
