We endured 2009 all over again in 2010, we just had a better running game. In fact, if anything, JJ was worse than the year before.

Yeah, I would be shocked to see anyone but JJ at the QB position regardless of how the passing game progresses. It doesn't seem to override his "versatility."

Agenda? Who knows what JJs SR season will bring but to act like there is no reason for concern is just ridiculous.

Yes, JJ had a solid outing, but you have to understand he was working with the first team OL and Rueben Randle, who had at least two of the TDs. I liked the way JJ ran the option, and he made some pretty good decisions in the pocket. His mobility is definitely an asset. Just understand when you see the "stats" come out and JJ has 5 TDs and 0 INTs, it because he's getting great protection and throwing to guys like Randle and Peterson.

well if he starts then wouldn't these guys be playing with him anyways? so what's the problem?

i guess the porblem is that it's tough to unseat an incumbant starter if you're at a disadvantage (bad oline, inexperienced recievers), even if you're better than that starter.

I was under reid @ free safety in high school. Glad to hear he's doing well. He used to get hurt ALOT. I figured LSU had the resources to alleviate that.

I am clearly missing something her but how does one concussion in the Spring put him out for the entire Fall season? Is he on his double digit concussion or something?

I don't know how many he's had, but it definitely wouldn't be his first or second.

Memphis said on the SEC Rant that this is his 4th in a little over 4 years.

Good luck to the kid.

How many severe concussions did he have last year, Rainbow Brite?

This was at least his third and most severe in his career. Took him out from July 8th of last season till start of this season....

No, he played at the end of last season...but he missed nearly the entire season with THAT severe concussion. He's done...sadly. Good luck to him in wherever life takes him...but health is paramount.

True. The problem is Mett isn't getting the same chances to prove himself. He's given a horrible line/receivers to try and outplay Jordan. It's not surprising at all. I said Miles would do this a month ago. He did the same thing last year in the Spring Game and was caught on tape saying, "I want my best QB in the game with the rest of the starters and going against the #2 defense." He doesn't want Mett to succeed at the moment as it would cause division from the fans and team. Better to make JJ look like the clearly better player. All we can do is hope and pray JJ = Jason Campbell.
