Saturday Night is Huge for the Program

Most people probably understand we have a chance at a New Years 6 bowl if we win among other things. BUT the perception of the program is everything to voters and most importantly recruits. Going into college station and grabbing your 10th win against a ranked team would cap off a great year!! I didn’t think I would be so pumped for this game but I am! And it might be cuz I’m just watching the saints.. idk.. Geaux Tigers!

I guess if you count A&M being ranked 28th and 30th in the two respective polls as being ranked, then yes....will be nice beating a “ranked” team.
Agree with your post overall...going 10-2 in the regular and getting a NY6 bowl would be a great year!

it’s always the best weekend of the year for games.
OU@WV, Wash@WSU, Mich@OhioSt.
3 potential losses to teams ahead of us.
That happening and beating the Ags could put us up there around 5/6.
Uga would then be at 4, and losing to Bama in the champ game could possibly open up a spot.
College football is crazy, anything could happen.
You’re right though, a win next weekend would exceed everyone’s expectations for this season and set us up for a nice New Years 6 matchup

Yep. We are going in dry. O is gonna have this team ready to run through tanks. He knows what this game means to the staff and program.

It is definitely a big deal to finish strong with the December early signing day looming. It's also a big deal to stomp on the neck of a recruiting rival. A&M struggling only helps LSU raid Texas and it's even better when we are the ones making them struggle.

Huge game.
Win this one and I’m definitely pleased with how the season went and excited about the future.
The Fisher storyline makes it seemingly a hugely pivotal game for both programs... LSU win and the status quo remains with LSU at 2nd In the SEC West hierarchy. A&M win and there might be a new pecking order
